Tour Overview:

Deluxe Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon
This tour offers the best viewing times for both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons, known as “Prime Time” tours. These are the ideal hours for optimal lighting and the chance to see the light shafts in Upper Antelope Canyon, depending on weather conditions.

Itinerary Overview:

  • Pick-up: We’ll pick up guests from the location they provide in Page, AZ.
  • Lower Antelope Canyon: Your guide will check you in for the Lower Antelope Canyon tour, then wait while you explore.
  • Upper Antelope Canyon: Afterward, you’ll experience the Upper Antelope Canyon tour, where your guide will be with you throughout.

What to Expect During Your Tour:

For Both Canyons:

  • Sandy and rocky walkways
  • Cooler temperatures inside the canyons
  • No bags allowed
  • No tripods, monopods, GoPros, or selfie sticks
  • A knowledgeable Native American tour guide will accompany you at all times

Upper Antelope Canyon:

  •  The hike is approximately 1 mile.
  • A ramp leads to the top of the canyon.
  • There are 5 sets of stairs descending at the entrance to the canyon.
  • Expect a bumpy ride in the tour truck to the canyon.
  • The canyon now has one-way traffic.
  • Upper Antelope Canyon is shaped like the letter “A”—narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, sitting above the riverbed.

Lower Antelope Canyon:

  • The hike is approximately 1.1 miles (1800 meters).
  • Entering the canyon involves descending 5 flights of stairs (82 steps).
  • Exiting the canyon requires navigating 8 separate ladders.
  • The tour is not recommended for those with claustrophobia or issues with narrow spaces.
  • Lower Antelope Canyon is shaped like a “V”, wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, and sits below the riverbed.

Tour Times:

  • 8:20 am – 8:30 am: Pick-up from your location
  • 9:15 am: Lower Antelope Canyon Tour
  • 11:00 am: Upper Antelope Canyon Tour
